- Granny's ground turkey thigh

- 1 brick
- Bothwell Gouda cheese

- 1/4 head
- red cabbage, thinly sliced

- green onion, sliced
Sassy Maple Mustard Sauce:

- 2 Tbsp (30 mL)
- butter
-
- 1/4 cup (60 mL)
- onion, grated

- 1/8 tsp (0.5 mL)
- cayenne
-
- 1/2 Tbsp (7.5 mL)
- Dijon mustard
-
- 1 Tbsp (15 mL)
- maple syrup
-
- 1/4 cup (60 mL)
- mayonnaise
Directions
Preheat grill.
Sassy Maple Mustard Sauce: In a skillet over medium heat, saute onion in butter. Set aside. In a bowl, combine all ingredients, including sauteed onion. Mix well.
Burgers: Form burger mixture into burger style patties 3/4" (2 cm) thick. Grill patties 5-10 minutes per side on an oiled grill or until thermometer inserted into the patty reads 175°F. Apply a generous slice of Bothwell Gouda for last minute of grilling.
Drizzle with Sassy Maple Mustard Sauce. Serve on toasted crusty bun or crostini with thinly sliced red cabbage and green onion.
